No one is interested in PCS. It’s a party stolen from JK.

The Chinese are not interested in Sapp. So, it’s eyeing Orang Asal seats. Sapp is like a bad smell that keeps following JK.

However, having said that, the Chinese in Sabah and Sarawak are suspicious of Lim Kit Siang tying up with Mahathir. Until then, they were happy to stand with the Chinese in Malaya under DAP.

So, we don’t know who the Chinese in Sabah and Sarawak will support. Certainly, they are too small to be in their own party. Neither can they be in a Muslim party.

Probably the Chinese will support PKR since the party is not that enthusiastic about Mahathir.

PKR’s problem in Sabah and Sarawak is that it’s lawmakers tend to get bought by BN/Mahathir one way or another.

Bum fled despite having won on a PKR ticket.

Lajim fled PKR and is being sponsored by BN to go against Shafie who is backed by Mahathir.

JK wants to work with Shafie but so far no development. Mahathir is suspicious of JK.

Darell and Terence defected from PKR to Shafie for self-serving reasons too.

On paper, Pakatan is still very strong in Sabah and Sarawak because of the PKR tie up with DAP. But will the Chinese in Sabah and Sarawak stick with DAP, opt for PKR or a local party. If local party, which party?

At the same time, PKR may be better off working through a local party in Sabah and Sarawak. This would prevent its lawmakers in Borneo from being bought by BN/Mahathir.

PKR may not work with JK because Anwar is suspicious of him.

That leaves SakSaMa in the running to work with PKR.
