No law against sharing a ride

The cops want to take a few ride-sharing cases to Court, as test cases, to let the Court decide.

The Court will not decide on ride-sharing since there’s no law against it.

The Court can only decide on the Uber drivers not having a public service vehicle (PSC) licence, the car not being registered as a taxi etc.

In defence, the Uber drivers can deny the charges. No need to mention ride-sharing.

Let the prosecution prove that ride-sharing is providing taxi services.
