Mohd Rashdan Jamaludin has recently left Malay Mail and now helms The Globalist Malaysia, an international affairs / diplomatic / business bi-monthly magazine. As the Managing Editor, Rashdan manages the content of the magazine as well as oversees all direction of content, ensuring that all the publication’s goals and targets are met.

Rashdan first started out his career in the financial industry – working in banking, insurance, mutual fund and investment in the 1990s.

After the turn of the millennium, he made a career change to journalism acquiring professional, journalistic and editorial skills during his employment as a business and financial Writer, Sub-Editor, Editor and Executive Editor at The New Straits Times Press Bhd, Brunei Press Sdn Bhd, The Malaysian Reserve / International Herald Tribune, Focus Malaysia, The Brunei Times and Islamic Banker Asia.

Additionally, Rashdan also contributed as a lifestyle, travel, automotive and real property Writer to VisionKL, Borneo Bulletin, The Unreserved and The Brand Laureate, respectively.

With his editorial experience, he worked in content management in the IT / ICT industry with stints as Content Manager for Asia-Pacific business partners at IBM Malaysia Sdn Bhd and as an Information Architect at Alam Teknokrat Sdn Bhd (Skali).

Rashdan is now also open to freelance opportunities.
